Terms and conditions

1.Unless otherwise specified, the promotion period is from now until March 31, 2027 (both dates inclusive) (“Promotion Period”).
2.Unless otherwise specified, the promotion is applicable to cardholders of Citi Mastercard Credit Cards/ Debit Cards issued by Citibank (Hong Kong) Limited (“Citibank”) (“Eligible Cards”), who are also registered users of AlipayHK Mobile Application (“AlipayHK App”) under Alipay Payment Services (HK) Limited (“AlipayHK”)("Cardholders"). AlipayHK may reject an Eligible Card if their payment system cannot handle some of the Eligible Card types, please contact AlipayHK for details.
3.Cardholders must settle the whole payment by respective Eligible Cards in order to enjoy the First-time Binding Reward (as defined in Clause 23).
4.During the Promotion Period, each Cardholder can only participate in the Promotion in accordance with these terms and conditions and receive such offers within the Promotion Period as set out in the relevant terms and conditions. For the avoidance of doubt, “each Cardholder” refers to a natural person with legal capacity who uses the AlipayHK App and Wallet service, but not merely an AlipayHK account. To further avoid any dispute, in the following circumstances, the relevant accounts will be deemed to be used by the same user/Cardholder: 
a.Connection on the same mobile phone or mobile device, such as the logging in or activation of multiple accounts; or
b.Connection of an AlipayHK account or mobile number on multiple mobile phones or mobile devices, such as the logging in or activation on such devices; or 
c.The same credit card number being connected to multiple AlipayHK accounts. 
d.In the case of any of the above, in order to verify the Cardholder’s identity and prevent the risk of theft or misuse of such AlipayHK account, mobile phone number, mobile device or credit card number, AlipayHK reserves the right to suspend or terminate the release of the relevant offers to the relevant account and to take legal action.
5.In case of any fraud/abuse/reversal or cancellation of transactions in respect of which any offer was awarded, Citibank and/or AlipayHK reserves the right to cancel, reverse or claw back the offer/award without prior notice.
6.Cardholders’ accounts must be valid and with good credit record during the Promotion Period in order to be eligible to receive the offers, otherwise Citibank reserves the right to forfeit the offers without prior notice.
7.If there is any breach of any of the Promotions’ terms and conditions or illegal, fraudulent or abusive behavior during the Promotion Period, AlipayHK will forfeit the relevant offer and the entitlement of coupons forthwith without notice, and reserves the right to cancel such transaction and to take legal action against the relevant user.
8.Unless otherwise specified, the offers cannot be used in conjunction with other special promotions, discounts or promotional coupons, nor be transferred or exchanged for cash or other offers.
9.Availability of the offers is subject to offer or service availability, account status checking and final acceptance by Citibank, Mastercard and AlipayHK at their absolute discretion. Photos, product specifications and prices are for reference only. 
10.Citibank, Mastercard and AlipayHK will determine the eligibility of Cardholders to enjoy the offers based on Citibank and AlipayHK’s records.
11.Unless otherwise specified, all amounts will be counted in Hong Kong Dollar.
12.Coupon and/or offers cannot be used to purchase any gift/cash vouchers, gift certificates or prepaid cards. They may not be exchanged for cash and are non-transferable. For goods return or refund, the amount on the relevant coupon will not be returned and the relevant coupon will not be re-issued.
13.The Promotion will be carried out in accordance with applicable laws in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. In the event the Promotion is stopped by government agency’s orders or must be suspended due to server network attack or system failure or any circumstances beyond Citibank, Mastercard and AlipayHK’s control, such event shall be regarded as a force majeure event, and Citibank, Mastercard and AlipayHK cannot be held liable for any damage, loss or dispute herein. 
14.Citibank, Mastercard and AlipayHK shall not be responsible for any matters in relation to the related products or services. The third party is solely responsible for all obligations and liabilities relating to such products or services and all auxiliary services, except for any card payment and/or points redemption services provided by Citibank.
15. Citibank, Mastercard and AlipayHK reserve the right to suspend, amend and/or terminate the offer(s) and change these Terms and Conditions without prior notice. Citibank, Mastercard and AlipayHK accept no liability for such suspension, amendment and/or termination.
16.All matters and disputes are subject to the final decision of Citibank, Mastercard and AlipayHK.

18.In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail. If there is any discrepancy between the promotional materials and these Terms and Conditions, these Terms and Conditions shall apply and prevail.

20.(a) The referenced document/these materials provide information about, and access to accounts and financial services provided by Citibank (Hong Kong) Limited and/or Citibank, N.A. Hong Kong Branch in Hong Kong. It does not, and should not be construed as, an offer, invitation or solicitation of services to individuals residing outside of Hong Kong. This reference document/these materials are not intended for distribution to, or use by, any person in any country where such distribution or use would be contrary to local law or regulation, and none of the services or investments or offers referred to in this referenced document/these materials are available to persons resident in any country where the provision of such services or investments or offers would be contrary to local law or regulation.
(b)Without prejudice to the generality of sub-clause (a), the Promotion/Offer is not applicable to:
(i) Individuals resident in the European Union, European Economic Area, Switzerland, Guernsey, Jersey, Monaco, San Marino, Vatican, The Isle of Man, United Kingdom, Brazil, New Zealand, Jamaica, Ecuador, Sri Lanka, Peru, Turkey, United Arab Emirates and Bangladesh;
(ii) Individuals with permanent residency in the European Union, European Economic Area, Switzerland, Guernsey, Jersey, Monaco, San Marino, Vatican, The Isle of Man, and United Kingdom.
21.No person other than Citibank and eligible Cardholders will have any right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance to enforce or enjoy the benefit of these terms and conditions.
22.These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

“Citi Mastercard First-time Binding Reward ” Terms and Conditions 
23.During the Promotion Period, Cardholders with an Eligible Card linked to their AlipayHK account for the first time (“Eligible Cardholders”) are eligible to receive a Taobao Coupon valued at HK$20 (“First-time Binding Reward”)(“Coupon”).The Coupon will be disbursed to the AlipayHK App accounts of the Eligible Cardholders in real-time. Eligible Cardholders can view the details of the Coupon in “Rewards” at their AlipayHK account.
24.To enjoy the Coupon, Eligible Cardholders must meet the spending of a Single Net Transaction (as defined in Clause 27) of HK$200 or above (the amount is determined based on the real-time exchange rate in the Merchant’s system at actual time of transaction) through AlipayHK at Taobao.com (“Designated Merchant”). 
25. Each Eligible Transaction is only allowed to apply one (1) Coupon. The Coupon is valid within seven (7) days from issuance, if the Coupon is expired, it will not be reissued. Cancellation, alteration, transfer, refund, or exchange for cash is not permitted under any circumstances, and usage is subject to the Merchant's Terms of Use.
26.The Coupon is subject to a monthly quota limit for the Promotion Period and will be offered on a first-come-first-served basis while quota lasts without prior notice. The available quota as recorded in the system of AlipayHK shall prevail under any circumstances.
27.A "Single Net Transaction" refers to the final amount of a single transaction after deduction of all applicable discounts, reductions and value of cash vouchers. Unposted/ cancelled/ refunded/ falsified/ unauthorised transactions are excluded.
28.In respect of First-time Binding Reward, Eligible Cardholders refer strictly to cardholders who have never linked any Eligible Card to their AlipayHK accounts before the Promotion Period. Eligibility status is subject to the internal records of AlipayHK.
