Terms and conditions

1. Unless otherwise specified, the promotion applies to cardholders of Citi Mastercard Credit Cards issued by Citibank (Hong Kong) Limited (“Citibank”) (“Eligible Cards”) (“Eligible Cardholders”). Alipay may reject an Eligible Card if their payment system cannot handle some of the Eligible Card type, please contact the respective merchant for details.
2. Unless otherwise specified, Cardholders are required to state their intention to enjoy the offer(s) to the respective merchant prior to payment and settle the whole payment by respective Eligible Cards in order to enjoy the offer(s) from the respective merchant.
3. Unless otherwise specified, the offers cannot be used in conjunction with other special promotions, discounts or promotional coupons, nor be transferred or exchanged for cash or other offers.
4. Availability of the offers is subject to offer or service availability, account status checking and final acceptance by Citibank, Mastercard and the Alipay’ absolute discretion. Photos, product specifications and prices are for reference only.
5. Citibank and Mastercard shall not be responsible for any matters in relation to the related products or services. The Merchant providing such products or services is solely responsible for all obligations and liabilities relating to such products or services and all auxiliary services.
6. The Merchant refers to Chinese Mainland merchants that accept payments via Alipay. For any enquiries, please contact Alipay for details.
7. Citibank, Mastercard and Alipay reserve the right to suspend, amend and/or terminate the offer(s) and change these Terms and Conditions without prior notice. Citibank, Mastercard and Alipay accept no liability for such suspension, amendment and/or termination.
8. To the extent permitted by applicable law, all matters and disputes are subject to the decision of Citibank, Mastercard and Alipay Citibank, Mastercard and Alipay reserve these terms and conditions in connection with this promotion.
9. In the event of any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail. If there is any discrepancy between the promotional materials and these Terms and Conditions, these Terms and Conditions shall apply and prevail.

11. (a) The referenced document/these materials provide information about, and access to accounts and financial services provided by Citibank (Hong Kong) Limited and/or Citibank, N.A. Hong Kong Branch in Hong Kong. It does not, and should not be construed as, an offer, invitation or solicitation of services to individuals residing outside of Hong Kong. This reference document/these materials are not intended for distribution to, or use by, any person in any country where such distribution or use would be contrary to local law or regulation, and none of the services or investments or offers referred to in this referenced document/these materials are available to persons resident in any country where the provision of such services or investments or offers would be contrary to local law or regulation (b)Without prejudice to the generality of sub-clause (a), the Promotion/Offer is not applicable   to:
(i) Individuals resident in the European Union, European Economic Area, Switzerland, Guernsey, Jersey, Monaco, San Marino, Vatican, The Isle of Man, United Kingdom, Brazil, New Zealand, Jamaica, Ecuador, Sri Lanka, Peru, Turkey, United Arab Emirates and Bangladesh;
(ii) Individuals with permanent residency in the European Union, European Economic Area, Switzerland, Guernsey, Jersey, Monaco, San Marino, Vatican, The Isle of Man, and United Kingdom.
12. In case of any fraud/abuse/laundering / cashing out benefits, sham transactions, infringement upon the legitimate rights and interests of others, publication of illegal or non-compliant content/reversal or cancellation of transactions in respect of which any offer was awarded, Citibank, Mastercard and Alipay reserve the right to cancel or reverse the offer/award without prior notice. 
13. No person other than Citibank and eligible Cardholders will have any right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance to enforce or enjoy the benefit of these terms and conditions.
14. These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

“Citi Mastercard Credit Card Exclusive Alipay Offer” Terms and Conditions:
15. Unless otherwise specified, the promotion period of Offer 1 (as defined in Clause 16) and Offer 2 (as defined in Clause 17) is from October 12, 2026 until January 31, 2027, both dates inclusive or when the offer quota hereof is reached, whichever is earlier (""Promotion Period"").
16. During the Promotion Period, Eligible Cardholders who link an Eligible Card to Alipay for the first time (“New Eligible Cardholders”) will be eligible to receive three (3) RMB 20 coupons for use on their next (3) eligible transactions. (“Offer 1”)
(i) Each coupon may be applied to one (1) eligible transaction of at least RMB 240 made with the linked Eligible Card via Alipay in Chinese mainland.
(ii) After New Eligible Cardholders link an Eligible Card to Alipay, the three (3) coupons will be instantly disbursed to the Alipay accounts of the New Eligible Cardholders. New Eligible Cardholders can view the details of coupons in “Coupons” under “Pocket” section of their Alipay accounts.
(iii) Each coupon is valid for seven (7) days from the date of successful card linking and will expire automatically thereafter if unused.
(iv) If a transaction using an RMB 20 coupon is cancelled or refunded and the cancellation or refund is processed within the original seven (7)-day validity period of the coupon, the coupon may be automatically reinstated, subject to Alipay's applicable policies and system processing.
(v) Each eligible Alipay account may only claim the offer once during the Promotion Period. 
(vi) “New Eligible Cardholders” refers strictly to users who have not previously linked an eligible Card to their Alipay account, as determined based on Alipay account records.
(vii) Eligible Cardholder who has previously linked an Eligible Card to their Alipay account will not be eligible for Offer 1 by unlinking and subsequently relinking the same or another Eligible Card.
17. During the Promotion Period, Eligible Cardholder who have previously linked an Eligible Card to Alipay (“Existing Eligible Cardholders”) will be eligible to receive an RMB 60 instant discount on one (1) eligible transaction of at least RMB 500 made with the linked Eligible Card via Alipay in Chinese mainland. (“Offer 2”)
(i) The RMB 60 instant discount will be applied directly at checkout upon meeting the applicable eligibility and minimum spending requirements.
(ii) Each eligible Alipay account may only claim Offer 2 once during the Promotion Period.
(iii) An instant discount will not be reinstated or reissued if the applicable transaction is cancelled or refunded.
18. Each Alipay account or account ID is identified based on a combination of factors including but not limited to Alipay account number, identification document number, mobile phone number, mobile device, and bank card number. If any two or more transactions share one or more of these identifiers, they may be regarded as belonging to the same user for the purposes of this promotion.
19. Offer 1 and Offer 2 are available on first-come, first-served basis and may end earlier once all available coupons and/or promotional benefits have been fully claimed.
20. Each transaction is qualified for only one promotional offer. Offer 1 and Offer 2 cannot be combined or used together in the same transaction.
21. Any refunds will be processed based on the actual amount paid by the user after application of the relevant coupon or instant discount. Any promotional discount amount used in the original transaction will not be refunded in cash.
22. A 3% cross-border transaction fee may apply to payments exceeding RMB 200, subject to Alipay's applicable terms and policies.
23. Offer 1 and Offer 2 apply only when Alipay is selected as the payment method within the Alipay app, participating mini-apps or participating partner merchant apps. Eligible transactions are not applicable to scenarios such as Express Pay, partial User-presented Mode scenarios and auto-debit scenarios.
24. These Terms and Conditions may be amended from time to time in accordance with applicable Citibank, Mastercard and Alipay policies.
25. The Promotion Period may be extended if promotional benefits remain available at the end of the stated Promotion Period, subject to Citibank’s, Mastercard's and Alipay's discretion.
26. Citibank and Mastercard shall not be responsible for the quality, merchantability or the fitness for any purpose or any other aspect of the products and/or services provided by third parties and Citibank shall not at any time be responsible or held liable for any loss, injury, damage or harm suffered by or in connection with the products and/or services provided by third parties. All disputes about quality or performance of the product and/or services shall be resolved directly with The Merchant (as defined in clause 6)providing such products or services.
27. Citibank, Mastercard and Alipay reserve the right, at their reasonable discretion, to vary, add to or delete the Promotion terms and/or terminate the Promotion.
