Terms and conditions

• Promotion is valid from 3 August until 31 Dec 2026
• Pay with Citi Mastercard to enjoy the promotion. 
• The promotion may end earlier if all coupons are claimed.
• For new Mastercard cardholders: This promotion offers a RMB 30 coupon to users who link an eligible Mastercard Credit, Debit, or Prepaid card issued in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, or Vietnam to Alipay for the first time. The coupon can only be applied to Mastercard card transactions of RMB 300 or more. Each coupon is valid for 7 days since successful binding. One Alipay account may only claim the offer once.
• “New Mastercard cardholders” refer strictly to users who are linking an eligible Mastercard card to Alipay for the first time historically, based on Alipay account records.
• Existing users with a previously linked Mastercard are not eligible by unlinking and relinking the card.
• For existing cardholders: This promotion offers a RMB 30 instant discount to existing users or users who have linked an eligible Mastercard Credit, Debit, or Prepaid card issued in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, or Vietnam to Alipay when making eligible purchases of at least RMB 1,000 with their linked Mastercard card in Mainland China. The discount is applied directly at the checkout page.
• A 3% cross-border transaction fee may be applied to payments exceeding RMB 200
• Coupons/instant discounts are valid only for purchases made in Mainland China using Alipay.
• Each eligible user is entitled to receive one promotion package during the Promotion Period. (Eligibility is limited by unique Alipay account ID.
• The promotion package may include: - one RMB 30 coupon for new Mastercard cardholders - one RMB 30 instant discount for existing users or new Mastercard cardholders subject to the user’s eligibility under the Promotion Mechanics.
• Each coupon is valid for seven days from the date of issuance and will expire thereafter. If the transaction is cancelled or refunded and the cancellation is processed within the original 7-days validity period, the coupon may be automatically reinstated. Refunds will be processed based on the actual amount paid (after discount), and used discount amount will not be reinstated.
• Instant discount will not be returned if the transaction is cancelled or refunded.
• Each transaction may only enjoy one promotion benefit. The coupon and instant discount cannot be combined within the same transaction.
• Coupons apply only when Alipay is selected as the payment method within the app or participating mini-programs.
• This campaign is offered on a first-come, first-served basis and may end early without prior notice once all coupons are claimed.
• These Terms and Conditions are subject to change without prior notice in accordance with Mastercard and Alipay policies.
• The Promotion Period will be extended by up to two months if coupons remain at the end of the period
• Citibank's and Alipay’s decision on all matters relating to the Promotion will be determined at its reasonable discretion and is final and binding on all participants.
• Citibank shall not be responsible for the quality, merchantability or the fitness for any purpose or any other aspect of the products and/or services provided by third parties and Citibank shall not at any time be responsible or held liable for any loss, injury, damage or harm suffered by or in connection with the products and/or services provided by third parties. All disputes about quality or performance of the product and/or services shall be resolved directly with Alipay
• Citibank and Alipay reserve the right, at their reasonable discretion, to vary, add to or delete the Promotion terms and/or terminate the Promotion.
