Terms and conditions

1. The offers are only applicable to Citi Credit, Debit & Commercial Cards issued by Citibank (Hong Kong) Limited (“Citibank”) (“Eligible Card(s)”). Expedia may reject an Eligible Card if their payment system cannot handle some of the card types. Please contact Expedia for details.
2. Cardholders of Eligible Cards (“Cardholder(s)”) are required to settle payment in full with Eligible Cards during the promotion period to enjoy the offers.
3. The offers apply only to bookings made online at [http://www.expedia.com.hk/citi] (“Designated Website”) , subject to the restrictions set out below. The offers cannot be redeemed through call centre.
4. Unless otherwise specified, the offers cannot be used in conjunction with other special promotions, discounts or promotional coupons, nor be transferred or exchanged for cash or other offers.
5. The offers cannot be redeemed against booking of properties on the exclusion list which may be accessed at http://www.expedia.com.hk/lp/b/pm-coupon-hotelexclusion. The exclusion list may be amended from time to time without prior notice.
6. Provided that Cardholders meet the requirements herein, the offers entitle Cardholders to the discount off the price of the relevant travel reservation before the application of any taxes, tax recovery charges, applicable fees or additional costs.
7. The offers are valid only for the promotion period, for travel during the travel period, when booked on the Designated Website only, and not booked on any other Expedia sites. 8. Only one offer per transaction may be used. In the event that Cardholders make a booking for multiple rooms in a single transaction, the discount will apply only to the lowest priced room (ie: if Cardholders book three rooms the discount will apply only to one of the three rooms and not to all rooms).
9. The offers cannot be redeemed against taxes, tax recovery charges, supplier fees, cancellation or change fees/penalties, administrative fees or other miscellaneous charges, which are the sole responsibility of the Cardholder.
10. The Designated Website’s Terms of Use apply and all bookings are subject to availability.
11. The offers may not be used with other discount coupons, promotions or special offers. Bookings made using the offers are not eligible for rewards points/mileage/cashback/other benefit under any rewards/mileage/cashback/similar program offered by third party marketing affiliates of Expedia.
12. The offers cannot be used for any booking already made. It will be deemed fully redeemed once a qualifying booking has been made. The offers have no cash value and no refunds or cash alternative will be offered. There is no residual value and, therefore, no credit will be issued if the purchase amount is less than the discount. The offers may not be re-used, even in the event that you change or cancel the booking.
13. The offers may only be used by the intended recipient(s) who must be an Eligible Card Cardholder; are at or above the age of majority in Hong Kong; and are legal residents of Hong Kong. The offers are void where prohibited by law.
14. The offers may not be used by employees of Expedia Group companies or any other person professionally connected with this promotion, including, without limitation, travel agency affiliate programme partners.
15. Improper use of the offers by Cardholders, including, but not limited to, publication or selling of the offers, is prohibited and may constitute fraud.
16. The offers may not be transferred or sold. Any offer obtained through unauthorized channels, mutilated, altered, copied, forged, damaged, manipulated, or tampered with in any way will be deemed void.
17. If Expedia becomes aware, or has reason to suspect (in Expedia’s reasonable opinion), that a customer: (a) has breached these Conditions of Use of Voucher Code; (b) has obtained the offers from an unauthorized channel; (c) has used the offer with a view to re-selling any travel product booked; (d) engaged in conduct which impacts on the fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this offer; or (e) otherwise acted fraudulently, Expedia may, in its absolute discretion, stop the Coupon and/or cancel all bookings made by the customer using the offers without giving any reasons thereon. Expedia reserves the right not to refund customers for the cancelled transactions, including any non-refundable bookings.
18. For avoidance of doubt, the offers can only be used by a customer making a booking directly on the Designated Website, and cannot be used through or by a third party travel agent or intermediary.
19. Availability of the offers is subject to availability, account status checking and final acceptance by Citibank and Expedia at their absolute discretion. Photos, product specifications and prices are for reference only.
20. Cardholders must keep and submit the relevant sales receipts or order confirmation receipt (applicable to online transactions) from Expedia in respect of the eligible transactions for inspection upon request by Citibank. All documents submitted to Citibank will not be returned.
21. Citibank will determine the eligibility of Cardholders to participate in the offers as well as the transactions based on Citibank's records.
22. Cardholders' Eligible Card accounts must be valid and with good credit record during the promotion period in order to be eligible to receive the offers; otherwise Citibank reserves the right to forfeit the offers without prior notice.
23. In case of any fraud/abuse/reversal or cancellation of transactions in respect of which the offers were awarded, Citibank reserves the right to debit from the Cardholders' Eligible Card accounts the equivalent amount of the offers without prior notice.
24. Citibank shall not be responsible for any matters in relation to the related products or services. Expedia is solely responsible for all obligations and liabilities relating to such products or services and all auxiliary services.
25. Citibank and Expedia reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions without prior notice. All matters and disputes are subject to the final decision of Citibank and Expedia.
26. In the event of any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.

28. Unless otherwise specified, the offer is valid from now till December 31, 2026, both dates inclusive and the travel period is valid from now till June 30, 2027, both dates inclusive.
29. Cardholders are required to make pre-paid stand-alone hotel booking (not a hotel booking in combination with any other product such as flight + hotel) and enter the coupon code "CITIHK08" prior to proceeding with payment to enjoy 8% off offer.
